This Privacy Policy describes how Onsen ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit getonsen.ai (the "Site") or contact us about our products and services.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. If you submit the waitlist form or contact us by email, we collect the email address and any other information you choose to provide (e.g., your name, firm name, or message).
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) automatically logs standard request data — your IP address, browser type, referring page, and the pages you view. This is used to operate, secure, and analyze the Site.
Cookies. The Site does not set first-party tracking cookies. Cloudflare may set technical cookies necessary for security and performance.
2. How we use information
- To respond to your inquiries and follow up about pilot access.
- To send occasional product updates, if you've opted in.
- To operate, secure, and improve the Site.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information for advertising.
3. Service providers
We use a small set of third-party services to operate the Site. Each has its own privacy practices:
- Cloudflare — DNS, hosting, and security. (privacy policy)
- Formspree — waitlist form submissions. (privacy policy)
- Google Fonts — typography delivery.
4. Data retention
We retain contact and waitlist information for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry or while you remain interested in the product. You can request deletion at any time by emailing us.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict our use of your personal information, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@getonsen.ai.
California residents have rights under the CCPA, including the right to know, delete, and opt out of "sale" of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
EU/UK residents have rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR, including the rights listed above and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
6. Security
We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
8. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
